Welcome!
Biker Chick is a magazine for women who ride. There is a focus on those who ride their own bikes, but there's content of interest to all women - riders and passengers. Think of it as a cross between Ladies Home Journal and American Iron.
What's Happening in the Biker Chick World
New Forum for biker chicks! Check it out. Sign up. The more ladies we have participating, the more fun it will be. It doesn't cost anything. Please join our community.
I LOVE Facebook! It's a great way to keep up with your riding buddies and let them know when and where you're taking a ride and a place to post all the pictures of the places you've been. There's a Biker Chick Magazine group on Facebook. If you're already a member, join the group. If you aren't, join Facebook and then join the group. I send out a message to all the group members when I've updated a section here. ![]()
Getting Around Biker Chick Magazine
The Road has been updated with the second in a four-part series on planning for a long road trip. The first part can be found in the archives, which is linked at the bottom of the page.
Accessories: This is a broad category and may include something like heated hand grips (which rock, by the way) or a nice Coach purse that fits in the saddlebags. Casttoos - tattoos for your cast - are featured right now.
Tech Tips has an overview of installing a reduced effort clutch kit, also known as an Easy Clutch. You'll still need your service manual and the instructions, but these pictures will show you just how easy the Easy Clutch is.
Safety/Riding Techniques: Riding is more fun when you're confident in your abilities. Find links to motorcycle safety courses in your area. Equipment and suggestions to keep you in one piece will be in this section.
Ask the Man now has a couple of questions posted by readers, with answers from the men who were brave enough to offer their opinions. See what they're thinking! Submit your own questions.
Apparel: Once Biker Chick gets established, there is a plan to evaluate riding apparel. This will also be a place to get ideas on dressing for riding and the office.
Arts and Crafts: There are lots of cool things to make with a motorcycle theme. You have to do something during the winter months, right?
I'm looking forward to adding Biker Chick profiles and would like to have a place for you to post pictures of your ride. Send them in! Also, the guys are waiting to answer your questions about what they're really thinking.
Things are likely to change or be added. I don't like structure or rules, so don't look for that here. If there's something you'd like to see, let me know. I hope you enjoy Biker Chick Magazine and come back often.
